How cool it is that we all trust each other on here. We can open up and tell our deepest darkest secrets on blogger with no fear of our readers judging us. Its so freeing.
How sad is it we have to be incognito in fear someone will know the REAL us?
How great of a world would this be if we could all be ourselves and no one would judge us? Although how rampant would our "sins" be?
And I put sins in quotes because I think religion puts GOd in a box. You don't know his plan! You don't know the bigger picture!
Anyway... I pray I can learn to be less judgmental... Especially to those I really love.

It's me again. I agree, blogging is liberating. However, there is a verse in the Bible where it specifically states that God has a plan for us and I do believe I know the bigger picture based on reading his word all of these years. It's faith-based and this is yet another thing I struggle daily with. Not doing what's pleasing to him, but what's pleasing to me. I just can't get past the part that I think I could have made the wrong decision or followed the wrong path all those years ago. However, who is to say had I chosen the one I now want desperately that things would be as perfect as they are now because we were so young?? Life really sucks sometimes...but then it can be amazing. Such a wild ride!
ReplyDeleteWe have here what we have. Ours to do with what feels right, what feels good. We take and we give, in a place where giving feels like receiving to me!

I missed you guys!!
ReplyDeletesecretia- interesting you say that, because you have to read my other blog...
A- i was heavy into God and it is miserable. I am constantly torn. its mentally frustrating and almost torturous. i have finally found peace in trying to figure out who i am and who god is.
I have no idea what God wants, wills or would have bloggers do. But I'm always struck by the fact that here, in the blog world, "we" trust one another where as out there, in the world of family, friends and work, we probably wouldn't.
ReplyDeleteMaybe trust can only exist in a total vacuum?
